India as a country has progressed in numerous sectors since its independence, making it an influential force in the world. As a student, studying thousand of miles from the home soil, there is no bigger pride than being treated equally among other nationalities and diversity. However, there are several challenges that a country with a population of 1.324 billion faces. Child labor and trafficking, rural development, women empowerment and corruption are a few to name. We, as a community, should address these problems rather than relying upon the government to do the needful. The future of a nation lies in the hands of it’s citizens.
